Cell phones send and receive radio signals all of the time. Their antennas constantly searching for signal and when it is received, they return back another signal about their status. This technology were never properly tested how acts on human body. According to the latest studies, our brain absorbs half of the emitted radiation when the phone is in standby or active mode.
By using cell phones more than half hour per day for 10 years, we double increase the risk for getting brain cancer, compared with the people that are not using cell phones too often.

- Children that are younger than 12 years it’s not recommended to play with cell phones, because their body is growing and developing faster than the other ages. They are more sensitive and prone to cell phone radiation. According to the recent studies 18% of school children use cell phones, which is disappointing result.
- Keep the cell phone away from you as much as possible, when you are not using it. Recommended distance should be at least 1 meter and magnetic field will be reduced for 50 times.
- If you see someone that talking on cell phone around you, keep distance for more than 1 meter. Avoid using cell phone in metro or bus because you will expose the other people on electromagnetic waves.
- Keep away from your cell phone when you are sleeping.
- When you need to carry your cell phone with you, don’t direct the cell phone with the antenna towards your body.
- Avoid long conversations.
- Periodically changing the ear during the conversation.
- Avoid using cell phone when you are moving fast (by car or train) or when the signal is weak.
- Using text messages instead of phone calls is healthier for your body. You will be less exposed on electromagnetic fields.
