If time consumption is the main reason why you don’t preparing homemade bread, then we have easy and fast solution for you. You just need few simple ingredients that can be easy found in every store and desire for healthy life.
HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:
- 3 cups of flour
- 1 package of yeast
- ½ a tablespoon of baking powder
- ½ a tablespoon of salt
- ½ a tablespoon of vegetable oil
- A bit of extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 glass of warm water
Mix the water together with the flour and yeast until you get fine mixture. Let the homogeneous mass to rest for 15 minutes and first bubbles will appear on the surface. Add the salt with the oil, 2 more cups of flour and knead everything for about 10 minutes. Additionally leave the mixture to rest for 2 hours.
When the dough is ready, cut 8 pieces and start kneading them until you get fine circular shapes. Cover them with cooking paper and leave them to rest for 30 minutes more. When it’s done, make discs with rolling pin, with dimension (12 cm wide in diameter, 5 mm thick). Heat the frying pan with a little bit of olive oil and fry them for 2 minutes on each side. If you want baked form of this bread, you can bake them into oven. Grease a baking pan with some oil and bake the discs for 10 minutes at 240 degrees.
